The Schneider Electric EZC400H4350N is a 4-pole EasyPact EZC400H moulded-case circuit breaker rated 400 A at 40 °C, with a TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit providing short-circuit and overload protection. Its 50 kA Icu at 380 V AC (50/60 Hz) — and the same 50 kA at 400–415 V and 440 V — means it can safely interrupt fault currents up to that level without upstream damage, sized for distribution panels in commercial and industrial buildings where high available fault current is a given. The breaker is category A (no intentional short-time delay), so it clears fast; coordination with downstream devices needs a selectivity study, but the 50 kA rating gives you headroom for most 400 V class switchboards. The thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit is fixed — no interchangeable rating plugs — so the 350 A trip at 50 °C and 400 A at 40 °C are the breaker's own calibration.
The EZC400H4350N is certified to EN/IEC 60947-1, EN/IEC 60947-2, GB/T 14048.2, and JIS C8201-2-2. IP20 finger-safe terminals and IK07 impact resistance handle the usual panel-side abuse.
Fixed-mount design with backplate mounting — no DIN-rail adapter; you bolt it to a panel backplate. The 185 mm width × 255 mm height × 140 mm depth footprint fits standard distribution panel cutouts for a 4-pole 400 A frame. Toggle-operated with a clear ON/OFF indication; no rotary handle or motor operator in this variant.
