The EZC400N44320 is a 4-pole EasyPact EZC400N circuit breaker rated 400 A at 40 °C with a TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit. The magnetic trip is fixed at 4000 A, so it clears short-circuits fast; the thermal element handles overloads.
Where it goes in the panel
Fixed-mount on a backplate, front-connected both line and load sides. The 44 mm connection pitch matches standard busbar spacing for 4-pole breakers. IP20 means finger-safe but not washdown — keep it inside a closed enclosure. IK07 gives basic impact resistance for panel handling. The toggle control provides positive contact indication so you can visually confirm the contact position without removing the cover.
Designed to EN/IEC 60947-2, EN/IEC 60947-1, JIS C8201-2-2, and GB/T 14048.2. Suitable for isolation per IEC 60947-2. Pollution degree 3 — rated for industrial environments where conductive pollution may occur. No earth-leakage protection; the TM-D trip covers short-circuit and overload only.
