The Schneider Electric EZC400N44350N is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker from the EasyPact EZC400N series, rated 400 A at 40 °C with a TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit. It provides short-circuit and overload protection in distribution applications, with a breaking capacity of 36 kA Icu at 440 V AC 50/60 Hz per IEC 60947-2.
The magnetic trip is fixed at 3200 A, roughly 8× In, so it handles motor inrush without nuisance tripping on Category A utilisation. Electrical durability is 4000 cycles at 415 V; mechanical durability is 10,000 cycles. For frequent switching applications, that cycle count sets the replacement interval.
Fixed-mount design for backplate installation. Front-front connection — both line and load terminate on the front face, simplifying busbar routing in a panel.
