The Schneider Electric EZEAXAL is an auxiliary alarm switch from the EasyPact EZC250 / EZCV250 range, designed to signal the tripped state of a moulded-case circuit breaker. It mounts inside the breaker accessory slot and provides a separate set of signal contacts — 2 NO/NC — that change state when the breaker trips on overcurrent or short-circuit. This gives the panel or PLC a dry-contact alarm input without needing a separate relay.
The rated operational currents are duty-specific: 3 A at 250 V AC in AC-12 (resistive) service, 2 A at 250 V AC in AC-15 (solenoid) service. For DC circuits, the switch handles 4 A at 24 V DC in DC-12 (resistive) and 3 A at 24 V DC in DC-14 (inductive with suppression). The minimum load is 10 mA at 24 V, so it can switch PLC-level signals without contact wetting issues. Lead wire termination means it connects directly to the breaker's accessory port — no additional terminal block required inside the panel.
