The EZS250E3225 is a 3-pole thermal-magnetic circuit breaker from Schneider Electric's EasyPact EZS range, rated 225 A at 40 °C. The TM-D trip unit provides fixed long-time pickup at 1 In and a fixed magnetic short-circuit protection threshold, so it is a straight swap for a distribution panelboard or a motor branch circuit where you do not need field-adjustable trip settings. Breaking capacity is 40 kA Icu at 220/240 V AC and 25 kA Icu at 380/400 V AC, both per EN/IEC 60947-2. At 400 V the 25 kA Icu still covers typical transformer-fed fault levels in a 400 V panel. The breaker is suitable for isolation (a visible contact gap when open), so it doubles as a disconnect for downstream maintenance.
Mounts fixed to a backplate (not DIN rail) — the 35 mm connection pitch and front-front wiring (upside and downside both front) suit a panelboard or enclosure with busbar stabs or cable lugs. The toggle control and left-side neutral position are standard for this class. Neutral is on the left, so plan busbar or cable routing accordingly.
