The FCE308100A200 is a hybrid cable that bundles motor power and encoder feedback into a single 10 m shielded assembly, reducing cabinet wiring clutter and eliminating a separate feedback cable run. It terminates in three plug-in connectors plus one RJ45 — the RJ45 carries the feedback signal (typically a HIPERFACE DSL or similar digital encoder link), while the plug-in set handles the motor phases, brake, and thermal sensor.
Shielded construction for drive-train reliability
The shielded motor cable construction (Type of Cable: Shielded motor cable) contains EMI that would otherwise radiate from the PWM drive output, keeping the encoder signal clean and preventing nuisance faults on adjacent I/O.
