What this cable connects and why the shield matters
The FCE322020A200: This is the OEM hybrid cable for the Schneider PacDrive 3 LXM62 servo drive family — specifically the LXM62-SC005_16mm variant. One end carries an M17 circular connector (metal shell, 360° shield termination), the other is unterminated flying leads that land on the motor terminals. The cable is shielded — that braid carries the common-mode return from the motor frame back to the drive and keeps PWM switching noise off the encoder feedback lines. On a 2 m run the capacitance is low enough that you don't need an output reactor for most installations, but if the drive throws a ground-fault alarm at power-up, check that the shield is bonded at both ends through the M17 shell and the drive's EMC clamp.
