Noise level is 60 dB at 1 m, no-load — about the hum of a quiet office printer. Under load the straight-tooth mesh will be louder; budget for an enclosure if operator exposure is a concern. Efficiency is 94 % — typical for a single-stage planetary. The 6 % loss is mostly gear mesh friction and bearing drag; at 130 N.m and 100 rpm output (about 1.36 kW mechanical), that is roughly 80 W dissipated as heat inside the housing. The aluminium body sheds that without a fan at 30 °C ambient, but derate if the enclosure traps heat.
