The 80 mm housing diameter and straight-tooth planetary design constrain the physical fit.

Ambient operating range is -25 to 90 °C; the IP54 rating at the shaft output means it tolerates dust and splash but not washdown. Maximum axial force Fa is 1200 N at 100 rpm for 10,000 hours, derating to 900 N for the full 30,000-hour life. Radial force Fr at mid-shaft is 950 N for 10,000 hours, 650 N for 30,000 hours. These limits govern overhung load on the output shaft — a belt or chain drive must stay within the lower 30,000-hour figure for the rated life.
Efficiency and noise floor
Listed efficiency is 94 % — typical for a single-stage planetary with straight teeth at this ratio. The 6 % loss is mostly gear mesh friction and bearing drag; it shows up as heat in the housing, so the 30 °C ambient rating assumes free air convection around the 80 mm black anodized aluminium body. Noise level is 60 dB at 1 m, no-load. Straight-tooth gears are inherently noisier than helical at higher speeds; at 100 rpm the 60 dB figure is acceptable for most industrial enclosures but may need acoustic treatment in a quiet lab or office-adjacent installation.
