Obsolete — sourcing through independent channels
Schneider Electric has marked the GBX1600201001F as obsolete. No official successor is listed, so replacement requires a parametric cross-match or a board-level redesign. The part is available through independent surplus and broker channels; quantities are lot-specific and confirmed at RFQ.
Torque envelope and service life
Rated for 800 N.m continuous output torque at 100 rpm and 30 °C, with a maximum intermittent torque of 1280 N.m under the same conditions. The 30,000-hour service life at rated load means a line running 8 hours/day, 250 days/year gets about 15 years before bearing or gear wear becomes a concern. Lubricated for life — no oil-change interval to schedule.
Backlash and precision fit
Maximum torsional backlash is 10 arc.min. That is a standard-precision planetary — adequate for indexing and positioning where cumulative error across multiple stages is budgeted, but not for zero-backlash servo applications. The torsional rigidity of 41 N.m/arcmin gives a stiffness figure for calculating windup under load.
Shaft loading and mounting
Maximum axial force Fa is 6000 N at 100 rpm for the 30,000-hour life, or 8000 N if you accept a 10,000-hour life. Radial force Fr at mid-span on the output shaft is 4200 N for the longer life, 6000 N for the shorter. These limits govern bearing selection in the driven mechanism — overhung loads need a separate support bearing. Shaft output seal is IP54, so the gearbox is splash-resistant but not washdown-rated. Housing is black anodized aluminium, shaft material C45 steel.
