Overview
The GS1AM211 is a Schneider TeSys GS auxiliary contact block, order code GS1AM211, with 2 C/O early-break contacts rated at 16 A switching current. It mounts on the right side of a GS1 32A fuse-switch disconnector equipped with a direct frontal or right-side handle, providing O and I position signalling via NFC DIN BS fuse-type compatibility.
Function & operation
The early-break contacts open before the main disconnector poles, ensuring the control circuit signals the OFF position before load current is interrupted. The 2 C/O (changeover) contacts each carry 16 A switching current, rated for 30000 cycles AC-15 electrical endurance and 1 Mcycles mechanical life. This configuration suits O and I position signalling — the contacts confirm whether the disconnector is open or closed, feeding status back to a PLC or indicator lamp.
Applications
This auxiliary contact block is used within Schneider TeSys GS motor switch-disconnector assemblies, typically on GS1D fuse-switch disconnectors in motor control centres, distribution boards, and machine isolation points.
