It mounts on a plate or rail and is operated via a right-side handle. Rated 63 A at 400 V AC-23B, it handles motor switching loads up to 30 kW at 400 V and 55 kW at 690 V AC-23A/AC-23B. The AC-23B duty class means it's designed for occasional switching of motors and other highly inductive loads — not continuous on-load making and breaking. Breaking capacity is 500 A at 400 V AC-23B, with a making capacity of 630 A at the same voltage. Short-circuit withstand is rated at 80 kA, and the unit carries an 8 kV rated impulse withstand voltage (Uimp).
Compliant with IEC 60947-3 (switch-disconnector standard), IEC 60269-1 and IEC 60269-2 (low-voltage fuse standards). The body achieves IP20 protection with the terminal cover fitted, suitable for enclosed panel installation where personnel touch protection is required. Fire resistance tested to 960 °C on the body and 850 °C on the fuse cover per IEC 60695-2-1. Protective treatment is TH (tropicalized) for humid environments.
Integration notes
Dimensions: 129 mm wide, 120.5 mm high, 92.5 mm deep. Power circuit terminals accept 10 to 25 mm² flexible wire; control circuit screw terminals torque to 3.2 N·m. The right-side handle position means it needs clearance on that side for operation. Rated for both AC and DC networks at 50/60 Hz. Electrical durability is 1500 cycles under AC-23A/B, 300 cycles under DC-23A/B; mechanical durability is 10,000 cycles — figures that matter when estimating remaining life on a used pull.
