Overview
The GS2AF63 is a Schneider TeSys GS auxiliary contact module, order code GS2AF63, providing blown-fuse signalling for GS1 and GS2 fuse-switch disconnectors up to 630 A. It carries a single C/O contact rated at 16 A switching current, configured for 3-pole DIN NFC fuse types, with instantaneous contact operation.
Function & operation
This auxiliary contact mounts directly onto the TeSys GS switch-disconnector and signals a blown fuse condition via its 1 C/O contact. The 16 A switching current rating covers typical control-circuit loads in AC-15 applications, and the 30000-cycle electrical life matches the mechanical endurance of the base disconnector.
Applications
The GS2AF63 is used in motor switch-disconnector and fuse assemblies within industrial control panels, typically in motor control centres (MCCs) and distribution boards where blown-fuse indication is required for maintenance and fault isolation.
