The GS2LLB4 is a TeSys GS switch-disconnector-fuse — a 4-pole, 160 A rated unit that takes BS-type fuses in size A4. It is designed to provide visible isolation and fault protection in a distribution or motor circuit, with a making capacity of 1600 A at 400 V AC-23B and a breaking capacity of 1280 A at the same voltage. The 160 A conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) at 40 °C is the continuous rating to size against — the AC-23B motor-switching current matches that figure at 400 V and 500 V, so for a 400 V motor load you use the full 160 A.
Plate-mounted, not DIN-rail — the 240 mm width and 162 mm height need a drilled backplate or enclosure sub-panel. Power circuit terminals accept bars up to 20 mm² or ring lugs from 50 to 95 mm², torqued to 12 N·m. The external operating handle can be mounted on the right side or front of the enclosure, giving flexibility for panel layout.
Standards and environmental limits
Built to IEC 60947-3 for switch-disconnectors. The fuse cover withstands 850 °C glow-wire per IEC 60695-2-1, and the body handles 960 °C. Storage from -40 to 80 °C, operation from -20 to 70 °C.
