The GV4LE50N6 is a 3-pole motor circuit breaker from Schneider's TeSys GV4 family, rated 50 A continuous and built to protect motor circuits up to 22 kW at 400 V or 45 kW at 690 V. The magnetic trip window is adjustable from 300 to 700 A, so you set the instantaneous pickup just above the motor's inrush without nuisance tripping on a hard start.
Standards and approvals — what they certify
That dual standard is the key: it acts as both a motor disconnect with overload protection and a branch-circuit short-circuit protective device.
Integration notes — mounting and wiring
Terminal lugs accept cable from 1.5 to 95 mm², with tightening torque of 5 N·m for the smaller wires and 9 N·m for the heavier ones. The connection pitch is 27 mm without spreaders, 35 mm with — that matters when you're laying out a multi-breaker lineup and need to match busbar spacing. Operating position is any orientation, which gives flexibility in tight enclosures. The mechanical durability is 40,000 cycles, electrical durability 20,000 at AC-3 duty at half load, so it's built for frequent switching in conveyor or pump applications.
