80 A motor circuit breaker for TeSys Deca panels
The GV4PEM80N6: It combines an electronic thermal-magnetic trip unit with a toggle control, offering adjustable magnetic tripping at 1360 A and phase failure sensitivity per IEC 60947-4-1.
Breaking capacity and motor power coverage
At 380–415 V AC the Icu is 50 kA, dropping to 15 kA at 525 V and 8 kA at 660–690 V; the UL ratings at 480Y/277 V are 35 kA, so the breaker handles typical North American 480 V distribution.
Panel fit and environmental ratings
Dimensions are 6.1 in (155 mm) high, 3.2 in (81 mm) wide, and 4.6 in (116 mm) deep, with a connection pitch of 1.06 in (27 mm) without spreaders or 1.4 in (35 mm) with them. IP40 front protection (IEC 60529) and IK07 impact resistance (IEC 62262) suit it for enclosed panel mounting; the gray RAL 7016 housing is standard for the TeSys Deca line. Pollution degree 3, operating altitude up to 5000 m, and any-position mounting give flexibility for harsh or high-altitude installations.
Certified to CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, EN/IEC 60947-4-1, and EN/IEC 60947-2, covering North American and IEC installations. Fire resistance tested to 1760 °F (960 °C) per IEC 60695-2-11, and climatic withstand per IACS.
