Panel fit and display specs
The Schneider Electric HMIET6401 is a 7-inch colour TFT LCD touch panel from the Easy Harmony ET6 range, running Vijeo Designer Basic. The 800 x 480 WVGA display renders 16 million colours at 16 brightness levels, with a single-touch analogue resistive touch surface. The ARM Cortex-A8 processor backs it with 256 MB device memory and 256 MB user data memory, plus 128 kB backup memory for the real-time clock retention between 0 and 50 °C. Front-panel IP65 (per IEC 61131-2) suits washdown zones; the rear panel is IP20. The plastic front bezel mounts with four screws through a 190 x 135 mm panel cut-out, accepting panel thickness from 1.6 to 5 mm. Overall dimensions are 206 mm wide, 151 mm tall, and 45 mm deep.
Supply, connectivity, and environment
The COM1 port provides RS-232C at 2400–115200 bps; COM2 handles RS-422/485 at 2400–187500 bps. A USB 2.0 micro-B port is on the back. Downloadable protocol support includes Modbus, Uni-TE, and third-party protocols. Rated for 0 to 2000 m altitude, 10–90 % non-condensing humidity. Vibration resistance per IEC 61131-2 at 9.8 m/s² (9–150 Hz) and shock resistance of 147 m/s² for 11 ms in X, Y, Z. Immunity to microbreaks on the supply is 5 ms.
