The HMIET6600 is a 12-inch colour TFT LCD touch panel from the Schneider Electric Easy Harmony ET6 range, driven by an ARM Cortex-A8 processor. The display runs at 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution with 16 million colours, so process graphics and alarm pages render clearly at the 12-inch diagonal. It is programmed in Vijeo Designer Basic, which handles the protocol stacks for Modbus, Uni-TE, and third-party protocols — no separate gateway needed for multi-vendor PLC links. Power is supplied externally at 24 V DC ±20%; the unit draws 14 W steady-state with a 30 A inrush on start-up. The front panel carries an IP65 rating per IEC 61131-2, so it withstands washdown spray in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical lines. The rear enclosure is IP20 — keep the cabinet environment clean or sealed. Mounting uses four screws through a panel 1.6 to 5 mm thick. The cut-out is 295 x 217 mm. Overall dimensions: 12.2 in (311 mm) wide, 9.2 in (233 mm) tall, 2.0 in (50 mm) deep behind the panel. The touch layer is single-touch analogue resistive — no multi-touch gestures, but gloved-hand operation works reliably in GMP environments.

Memory & Runtime Environment
The HMIET6600 carries 256 MB device memory, 256 MB user data memory, and 128 kB backup memory. That capacity supports up to 200 application pages with embedded alarm summaries, recipe tables, and trend charts. The real-time clock is built-in and rated for 0 to 50 °C and 10 to 90 % RH non-condensing — no separate battery-backed RTC module required. Character font support includes ASCII, European characters, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Japanese (ANK, Kanji), Katakana, and Korean. The display brightness is adjustable across 16 levels. The status LED on the front panel indicates power on (green steady), software starting (orange steady), or a fault condition (red steady).
Environmental & Mechanical Ratings
The HMIET6600 is rated for operating altitudes up to 2000 m (6561.68 ft). Vibration resistance: ±3.5 mm at 5–9 Hz and 9.8 m/s² at 9–150 Hz, 10 cycles per axis per IEC 61131-2. Shock resistance: 147 m/s² for 11 ms in X, Y, Z directions, three times per axis. Immunity to microbreaks on the supply is 5 ms — the HMI holds its state through brief supply dips without rebooting. The front bezel is plastic (PC); the enclosure material is polycarbonate. Relative humidity range is 10 to 90 % non-condensing. The Ethernet port is 10/100BASE, suitable for connection to a plant-floor switch or direct to a PLC CPU.
