15-inch Harmony FP6 touch panel for panel-mount HMI applications
The Schneider Electric HMIFP6700TMD is a 15-inch industrial touch panel screen from the Harmony FP6 series, built for panel-mounted operator interface duties where a 4:3 aspect ratio and XGA resolution (1024 x 768 pixels) are specified. The analog multi-touch resistive screen supports two-point touch, which is a practical choice for gloved-hand operation on factory floors where capacitive screens lose registration. The 16-million-colour LED backlight is rated for 50,000 hours at 25 °C — roughly 5.7 years of continuous run before the backlight dims to half brightness. Enclosure rating is IP66f and IP67f (front panel only, per the f suffix), plus NEMA Type 1, 4X, 12, and 13. That means the front face withstands high-pressure washdown and temporary immersion — suitable for food-and-beverage, pharmaceutical, or outdoor kiosk deployment where hose-down cleaning is routine.

Integrated connections include a DVI-D video port, USB Type B (device), and USB Type A (host) at USB 2.0 speeds. The front USB port is a USB-A / micro-B combo for quick data transfer without opening the panel. Rated for operation from 0 to 55 °C ambient and storage from -20 to 60 °C. Vibration resistance is 1 gn across 5–150 Hz per IEC 61131-2, and shock resistance is 147 m/s² (15 g) — three shocks in each axis. Operating altitude is 2000 m maximum. EMC immunity includes electrostatic discharge at 6 kV contact / 8 kV air (IEC 61000-4-2 Level 3), fast transient bursts at 2 kV on power ports and 1 kV on signal ports (IEC 61000-4-4). Inrush current is 30 A, so factor that into the DC supply sizing if multiple units power up simultaneously.
