The Schneider Electric HMIGTO2300FW is a 5.7-inch advanced touchscreen panel from the Harmony GTO range, running Vijeo Designer configuration software v6.1 or later. It's a current-production unit, so no lifecycle concerns for new designs or line-side spares. Display is a backlit colour TFT LCD at QVGA resolution (320 x 240 pixels) with 65536 colours and 16-level brightness adjustment via touch or software. The resistive-film touch panel is rated for 1,000,000 actuations, and the backlight is spec'd at 50,000 hours to half-brightness at 25 °C. Runs on 24 V DC (19.2...28.8 V range) with a 30 A inrush. Natural convection cooling, no fan. The front panel carries IP65 and NEMA 4X ratings — suitable for washdown zones and indoor enclosures where dust or hose-down is a concern. Rear panel is IP20.
Protocol and integration
This panel speaks multiple protocols natively: Modbus, Modbus Plus, Uni-TE, and FIPWAY on the Schneider side, plus third-party drivers for Mitsubishi Melsec, Omron Sysmac, Rockwell Allen-Bradley, and Siemens Simatic. No gateway box needed for mixed-vendor lines. Mounts flush via four screw clamps. Cut-out dimensions: 6.7 in (169.5 mm) wide by 5.4 in (137 mm) high, with a behind-panel depth of 2.3 in (59.5 mm). Front bezel material is PPT (polypropylene terephthalate), same as the enclosure. Memory: 64 MB Flash EPROM for application storage, plus 128 kB internal SRAM backed by a lithium battery (rated 100 days retention, 5-day charge, 10-year battery life). An SD card slot is present for recipe or log transfer.
Rated for 10...90 % RH non-condensing, operating altitude up to 2000 m, vibration 3.5 mm at 5...9 Hz and 1 gn at 9...150 Hz per EN/IEC 61131-2, shock 147 m/s². Standards: IEC 61000-6-2 (industrial immunity), UL 508 (industrial control equipment), EN 61131-2 (programmable controllers).
