Panel PC for the line — what you get
The Schneider Electric Harmony P6 HMIP6ADB0NA0DNAN00 is a 10.1-inch modular box PC with a 1280 x 800 pixel LED touchscreen, running on a 12...24 V DC supply. It's fanless, so no filter changes or fan failures down the road, and it carries IP66f/IP67f and NEMA 4X/13 ratings — meaning it handles washdown environments and dusty panels without an extra enclosure. The display shows 16 million colours at a 16:9 aspect ratio, with a backlight rated for 50,000 hours at 25 °C — roughly 5.7 years continuous, so you'll likely swap the machine before the backlight. Power supply sizing: expect a 30 A inrush at startup, so don't undersize the 24 VDC supply or its output capacitance. Steady-state draw is covered by the 12...24 V range; the unit is pollution degree 2 rated, fine for most control panels.
Mounting and cut-out — fits the panel you already have
Panel-mount or VESA mount — your choice. The panel cut-out is 255 (+1/-0) x 185 (+1/-0) mm; overall dimensions are 10.6 in (268.5 mm) wide, 7.8 in (198.5 mm) tall, and just 2.6 in (67 mm) deep behind the panel. That shallow depth leaves room for cabling and other gear in a tight enclosure. One expansion slot is available for an optional interface card — fieldbus, serial, or additional Ethernet, depending on the card you choose. No internal PCIe slots to wrestle with; it's a single-slot add-on.
Environmental toughness — where it lives
Operates from 32 to 131 °F (0 to 55 °C) panel-side, and stores from -4 to 140 °F (-20 to 60 °C). Non-condensing humidity from 10 to 90 %. Shock rated at 147 m/s² in all three axes, three hits per axis; vibration at 9.8 m/s² from 9 to 150 Hz (M.2 SSD, per IEC 61131-2). Good for a machine-side panel on a press or packaging line. Operating altitude is 2000 m.
Software and runtime — what's onboard
Node-RED is preinstalled. Depending on the configured offer, it also ships with EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert runtime, EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert runtime, or AVEVA system platform installer. EcoStruxure Secure Connect, Stratus EverRun, and Trellix require separately purchased licenses. That's a broad software stack — SCADA, edge processing, or just an HMI runtime, all from the same hardware. External display support: the unit can drive up to 4096 x 2304 pixels at 60 Hz over its video output — handy if you need a secondary monitor for setup or a larger operator view.
