The Schneider Electric Harmony P6 HMIP6DAB0NA0WNAN00 is a 21.5-inch modular box PC touch panel built for machine-level HMI and edge computing. It runs on a 12...24 V DC supply, draws a 30 A inrush at power-up, and dissipates heat through a fanless chassis — no moving parts to fail in a dusty panel enclosure. The 1920 x 1080 LED display delivers 16 million colours at a 16:9 aspect ratio, with a backlight rated for 50,000 hours at 25 °C. The front face carries IP66f and IP67f protection with a NEMA 4X/13 rating, so it handles washdown and hose-directed spray in food, beverage, or chemical processing lines. The rear panel is IP20, consistent with enclosure-mount practice. Mounting options include panel cut-out (518.5 x 316.5 mm) or VESA, and the unit fits a 2.7-inch (69 mm) depth behind the panel.
Software and runtime environment
Node-RED is preinstalled on the unit, giving a low-code edge for data aggregation and MQTT bridging. For SCADA or visualization duty, EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert and EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert are available on configured offers, as is AVEVA System Platform. EcoStruxure Secure Connect and Stratus EverRun require separately purchased licenses. The unit has one slot for an optional interface card, so expansion beyond the base Ethernet is possible without a separate gateway.
Operating temperature is 32...122 °F (0...50 °C) at the panel side, with storage from -4...140 °F (-20...60 °C). Relative humidity stays 10...90% non-condensing. The unit withstands vibration per IEC 61131-2 at 9.8 m/s² (9...150 Hz) with an M.2 SSD, and shock at 147 m/s² in X, Y, Z. Pollution degree 2 applies. Altitude is limited to 2000 m. Compliance includes EN/IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD level 3, 6 kV contact), IEC 61000-4-4, FCC Part 15, and UL 61010-2-201 — the last being the safety standard for electrical test and measurement equipment, which covers the panel PC's role as a control-station component in a UL-listed industrial panel.
