Panel PC for machine-level HMI and edge applications
The Schneider Electric HMIP6DDB0NA0WNAN00 is a Harmony P6 modular box PC with a 10.1-inch LED touch panel, running a 4-core processor. It is designed for panel mounting or VESA mounting in control cabinets, providing a local HMI and edge-compute node for machine builders and system integrators. Power is supplied over a 12...24 VDC input (9...36 V limits), with a 30 A inrush at startup. The fanless design and IP66f/IP67f front-panel protection (NEMA 4X/13) make it suitable for washdown environments and dusty industrial floors — the front survives hose-down and direct spray. The 10.1-inch LED display runs at 1280 x 800 pixels (16:9 aspect ratio, 16 million colours) and supports an external display at up to 4096 x 2304 px at 60 Hz. Backlight lifespan is rated at 50,000 hours at 25 °C — roughly 5.7 years of continuous run time before brightness degrades to half.
Software stack and runtime environment
The unit ships with Node-RED preinstalled and includes run-time licenses for EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert, EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert, and the AVEVA system platform installer (on configured offers). EcoStruxure Secure Connect, Stratus EverRun, and Trellix require separate licenses. One slot is available for an optional interface card (fieldbus, serial, or additional Ethernet).
Operating temperature range is 32...131 °F (0...55 °C) for panel-side mounting, with a derated top end of 122 °F (50 °C) for larger display variants. Storage range is -4...140 °F (-20...60 °C). Relative humidity tolerance is 10...90% non-condensing. Maximum operating altitude is 2000 m. Vibration resistance is 9.8 m/s² over 9...150 Hz (M.2 SSD, per IEC 61131-2). Shock resistance is 147 m/s² in X, Y, Z directions, three times each. Pollution degree 2 (non-conductive dust only). Cut-out dimensions are 255 (+1/-0) x 185 (+1/-0) mm. Overall dimensions: width 10.6 in (268.5 mm), height 7.8 in (198.5 mm), depth 2.6 in (67 mm). The depth is the panel depth behind the cut-out — critical for shallow enclosures.
The HMIP6DDB0NA0WNAN00 carries UL 61010-2-201, FCC Part 15, and IEC 61000-4-2 / 61000-4-4 compliance. ESD immunity is tested at 6 kV contact discharge (IEC 61000-4-2 level 3). These approvals cover North American and European industrial installations.
