Panel PC for HMI and SCADA duty
The Schneider Electric HMIPSPS752D180L is a 15.6-inch Performance-class touchscreen panel PC from the Harmony iPC range, built around an Intel Core i3-4010U processor at 1.7 GHz with 8 GB DDR3 RAM and an Intel HD Graphics 4400 controller. It runs Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 64-bit, making it a fit for EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert, Machine SCADA Expert, and Vijeo Citect runtime environments — the software licenses are not included, but the hardware is ready for them. The projected capacitive (PCT) touch panel supports 5 simultaneous touch points and operates with water on the screen, which matters on a washdown-capable panel face.
Display and optical performance
The 15.6-inch LED-backlit colour TFT LCD delivers 1366 x 768 pixels (WXGA, 16:9 aspect) at 300 cd/m² luminance and 16.7 million colours. Backlight lifespan is rated at 50,000 hours — roughly 5.7 years of continuous 24/7 operation before the backlight drops to half brightness. The 7H anti-scratch hardness on the touch surface holds up against repeated gloved interaction on a production floor.
Connectivity and expansion
Storage expansion is handled through one internal SATA HDD/SSD slot and one CFast slot. A single full-size mini PCI Express slot is available for wireless or additional I/O cards. The chipset is Intel QM87, and the video controller is the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400. The electrical connection uses a 3-way SMA connector for the antenna.
