Panel PC for HMI runtime
The HMIPSPS952D1X01 is an 18.5-inch Performance-class touch panel PC from the Easy Harmony iPC range, built around a Core i5 CPU with 8 GB RAM and a 128 GB mSATA SSD. It runs the EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert runtime (license not included) and connects via dual Ethernet, four USB ports, and two COM ports. The 1366 x 768 FWXGA colour TFT LCD delivers 450 cd/m² luminance and a 160° x 170° viewing angle, sufficient for panel-mounted operator stations in moderate ambient light. The single-touch analogue resistive touch layer is a proven technology for gloved-hand operation. Supply is 12-24 VDC nominal (15-20% tolerance) drawing 1.9 A. The front panel carries an IP65 seal; the rear enclosure is IP20, so the unit is suited for washdown-adjacent environments when panel-mounted with the gasket compressed.
Panel-mount by clips and screws into a 457 x 283 mm cut-out. Overall dimensions are 467 mm wide, 292.5 mm high, and 51.5 mm deep — the shallow depth leaves clearance behind the panel for cabling and the passive fanless cooling stack. The aluminium alloy housing provides mechanical rigidity and acts as a heat sink for the fanless design. Operating temperature range is 0-50 °C.
The built-in watchdog timer (1-255 ms) allows the application to recover from software hangs without a hard power cycle — useful for unattended runtime environments.
