Panel computer for machine-level HMI
The Schneider Electric HMIPWC5D0E01 is a Harmony iPC PC panel — a panel-mount industrial computer with a 10.4-inch active-matrix colour TFT LCD display (SVGA 800×600, 16 million colours) and an analogue resistive touch overlay. It runs Windows Embedded Standard 2009 on an Intel Atom Z510 1.1 GHz processor with 1 GB RAM and a 2 GB SLC CompactFlash drive. The front bezel is aluminium alloy; the enclosure is treated steel. Rated IP65 (front panel, indoor use) and NEMA 4X, so it withstands washdown and dust ingress on the operator side — typical for food, beverage, or pharmaceutical lines where the panel face sees routine cleaning.
Processor, memory, and OS stack
The Atom Z510 runs at 1.1 GHz with a 400 MHz Intel US15W chipset and Intel GMA 500 graphics (256 MB dedicated video memory). The 1 GB DDR2 RAM and 512 KB SRAM are sufficient for Vijeo Designer runtime, Vijeo Citect web client, and bundled applications (.NET Framework 3.5, Internet Explorer, Adobe PDF/multimedia reader, Office viewers). The OS is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Chinese, Portuguese, and Russian — select the language variant when ordering.
Power, environment, and mounting
Runs on 24 VDC (18–30 V range), draws 1.875 A line current, consumes 36 W typical. Inrush current is 3 A. Mounts to an enclosure door or panel using the included fixing kit fasteners. The cut-out dimensions are 323 mm wide × 260 mm high × 72 mm deep. Operating altitude is 2000 m; pollution degree 2 per EN/IEC 61131-2. Vibration and shock ratings follow IEC 60068-2-6 (continuous and intermittent profiles) and IEC 60068-2-27 (15 gn, 11 ms). Relative humidity range is 10–85% (non-condensing).
