The Schneider Electric HMISTM6400FW is a 7-inch colour TFT LCD touch panel from the Harmony ST6 series, built around an ARM Cortex-A8 processor. It runs on 24 V DC supply and delivers 800 x 480 WVGA resolution with 16 million colours — enough clarity for line-status screens, recipe selection, and alarm pages on a machine cell.
Mounts through a Ø 22 mm panel cut-out on 1.5 to 6 mm thick material. The front panel carries IP65 / NEMA 4 and NEMA 13 protection — rated for washdown areas and indoor enclosures where dust or splash is present. Rear side is IP20, standard for inside the cabinet. Dimensions are 7.9 in wide by 5.4 in tall by 2.3 in deep (201.2 x 137.2 x 57.7 mm). That depth includes the rear body; plan for clearance behind the panel for the RJ45 and USB connectors.
Connectivity and protocols
Built-in ports: one serial RS232C/RS485 on RJ45 (2400–115200 bps), two USB 2.0 (type A and micro B), and two Ethernet 10/100BASE-T RJ45. Downloadable protocol support includes Modbus, Uni-TE, and third-party protocols — covers the common PLC brands (Schneider Modicon, Mitsubishi Melsec, Omron Sysmac, Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Siemens Simatic).
Memory and runtime
Holds 1 GB device memory, 128 MB user data memory, and 512 KB backup memory. Supports up to 200 application pages. Real-time clock is built in and active across the 0–50 °C operating range. Backlight rated for 20,000 hours white.
