The Schneider Electric HMIYP6M2R23P2CTO is a serial line interface for the Harmony P6 HMI platform. It adds two isolated RS232C ports via a dual M.2 form-factor plug that terminates to a pair of SUB-D 9 connectors, running 2400 to 115200 bps. This is an expansion option for configured Harmony P6 products — the HMI base unit ships without these ports, and this card slots in to add legacy serial connectivity.
The interface mounts inside the Harmony P6 enclosure — the M.2 connector keys into the HMI's internal expansion slot, and the two SUB-D 9 ports exit through the panel cut-out or rear gland plate. Operating temperature range is 32 to 131 °F (0 to 55 °C); storage range is -4 to 140 °F (-20 to 60 °C). Non-condensing relative humidity from 10 to 90 % is acceptable. The card draws its power from the HMI backplane; no external supply is needed.
Each RS232C port is isolated, which avoids ground-loop issues when connecting to PLCs, drives, or serial printers that share a different chassis ground. Baud rate is configurable across the 2400 to 115200 bps range, covering common Modbus RTU, DF1, and ASCII protocols. Single-unit packaging.
