Wireless connectivity for the Harmony P6 platform
The HMIYP6MPWF is a wireless module that adds Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity to a Harmony P6 HMI. It mounts via a Slot-IN connector and ships with two SMA-male antennas, so the panel builder gets a complete RF front-end without sourcing antennas separately. Encryption covers WEP 64, TKIP, AES 128, AES 256, and WPA2, which means the module can join an existing plant-floor WPA2-secured network without a separate bridge or gateway.
Environmental and integration notes
Rated for 0 to 55 °C operating ambient and 5 to 95 % non-condensing humidity, so it handles the typical panel environment without forced cooling. Storage range extends from -30 to 70 °C for off-season or spare-part storage. The Slot-IN form factor means the module plugs directly into the HMI backplane — no separate DIN-rail mount or external enclosure needed. The two SMA antenna ports accept standard antennas.
