Definition and class
The Schneider Electric ILM0701P22F0000 is a servo motor with integrated drive from the PacDrive 3 ILM range, device short name ILM. That pairing collapses the drive electronics into the motor housing, so the unit drops onto a standard 70 mm international flange without a separate cabinet-mounted amplifier — the cable run to the controller is the fieldbus, not a resolver or encoder loop terminated at a remote drive.
310 W continuous, 5.7 A peak
Nominal output power is 310 W at a line-rated continuous current of 0.6 A, with a maximum Irms of 5.7 A and a continuous stall current of 1.55 A. The peak-to-continuous ratio is what matters for sizing: the drive can deliver roughly 9.5× the nominal current briefly, so a high-acceleration motion profile (fast index + dwell) fits inside the thermal envelope that the 0.6 A figure implies for steady-state.
Torque and speed envelope
Nominal speed is 6000 rpm. The 7× peak-to-nominal torque ratio is the budget the application programmer leans on for accel/decel pulses between dwells — the holding brake then locks the axis at zero speed without back-driving the motor.
Hiperface feedback and motor constants
Position feedback is absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface, which means the controller reads absolute shaft position on power-up without a homing routine. Stator resistance is 10.4 Ω phase-to-phase at 20 °C and inductance is 38.8 mH phase-to-phase at 20 °C, with a back-EMF constant of 46 V/krpm and a torque constant of 0.71 N·m/A at 120 °C. The torque constant figure being specified at the hot winding temperature — not 25 °C — is the useful one for sizing loop bandwidth; the cold-winding number overstates the torque a warmed-up motor delivers at the same current.
70 mm flange, IP65, natural convection
The motor flange size is 70 mm, mounting support is the international standard flange pattern with a 60 mm centring collar and 5.5 mm mounting holes on a 4-hole pattern. Shaft is 11 mm diameter × 23 mm long, untapped, with no second shaft end. Cooling is natural convection — there is no integrated fan — and the housing carries IP65 protection. IP65 plus convection-only cooling is the deployment gate: the unit goes inside an enclosure or onto a machine surface where splash and dust ingress are the hazards, but the absence of forced cooling caps continuous torque in a still-air environment well below the 1.1 N·m stall figure.
