The TeSys LA1LC070B is an undervoltage trip accessory for TeSys Integral starters — a dedicated undervoltage release that drops the starter when the control voltage falls below a set threshold. It operates on a 24 V AC 50/60 Hz control circuit, with a tripping threshold of 0.35 to 0.7 times the nominal control voltage (Uc), meaning it will release the starter when the voltage drops to roughly 8.4–16.8 V AC. A built-in 0.2 s time delay prevents nuisance tripping during brief voltage sags or switching transients — the starter stays engaged unless the undervoltage condition persists beyond that window.
The 24 V AC 50/60 Hz coil is specific — this part will not work on a 24 V DC control bus or a 110 V AC circuit. Verify your control transformer output before specifying. The inrush power draw is 8 VA AC, with a hold-in consumption of 4 VA AC — a standard control transformer can support this load alongside other coil loads in the panel. The control circuit voltage limits are 0.8 to 1.1 Uc (19.2–26.4 V AC), defining the range over which the coil will reliably pick up and hold without overheating. Supplied as a set of 10 units, intended for panel builders or MRO planners stocking multiple spares for a line of TeSys Integral starters.
