The LA9FL4K4H is a mechanical interlock from the TeSys F range, designed to physically prevent two or three contactors from closing simultaneously. It's the accessory that keeps your motor-reversing or star-delta circuit from shorting phase-to-phase when a contactor welds or a coil hangs up. This particular variant is built for a stack of three vertical contactors — a bottom LC1F265 through LC1F330 (3P or 4P) or CR1F265 (3P or 4P), a middle LC1F500 (2P, 3P, or 4P) or CR1F500 (3P or 4P), and a top LC1F630 (3P or 4P) or LC1F800 (3P) or CR1F630 (3P or 4P). That's a lot of model numbers, but the point is: this interlock handles the full F-frame contactor family from 265 A up to 800 A.
Mounting position is three vertical — meaning the three contactors sit stacked one above the other on the DIN rail or panel. The interlock clips between them, tying their armatures together mechanically so only one can pull in at a time. If you're laying out a motor control center bucket or a standalone panel, this vertical stack saves width but costs height. Make sure your enclosure has the vertical clearance for three F-frame contactors plus the interlock hardware between them.
