The LA9FL4L4K is a TeSys F mechanical interlock — a panel accessory that physically prevents two or three contactors from closing simultaneously. It mounts in a 3-vertical configuration, meaning the three contactors stack one above the other on the DIN rail or backplate, and the interlock bar ties their armatures together so only one can pull in at a time. The interlock is compatible with a specific set of TeSys F contactors and reversing contactors: bottom position accepts LC1F500 2P/3P/4P or CR1F500 3P/4P; top position accepts LC1F630 3P/4P, LC1F800 3P, or CR1F630 3P/4P; middle position accepts LC1F630 3P/4P, LC1F800 3P, or CR1F630 3P/4P. What the mechanical interlock does for the circuit
A mechanical interlock is the simplest way to enforce electrical isolation between two power paths — no logic, no PLC code, no auxiliary contact wiring. When you have a reversing starter or a changeover scheme (mains-to-generator, pump A-to-pump B), this bar guarantees that even if both coils get energized by a control fault, the power contacts cannot physically close together. That prevents phase-to-phase shorts that would blow fuses or weld contactor tips.

Mounts in a 3-vertical stack. The interlock bar spans the three contactor armatures; you clip it onto the front of the contactors after they are snapped onto the DIN rail. No extra wiring — it is a purely mechanical part.
