The Schneider Electric LAD4V3G is a varistor-based suppressor module for the TeSys Deca contactor range. It clips onto the side of the contactor and handles control circuit voltages from 50 to 127 V AC/DC at 50/60 Hz. The varistor technology limits peak voltage to twice the control circuit voltage (2 Uc), protecting downstream PLC outputs and relay coils from inductive kickback. The module carries IP2X finger protection per IEC 60529 — adequate for enclosed panel use where accidental contact is the concern, not washdown.
