Function & operation
The block provides one NO and one NC auxiliary contact that switch simultaneously with the main contactor armature. Rated making capacity is 140 A AC and 250 A DC per IEC 60947-5-1, with a permissible short-time rating of 100 A for 1 s at 60 °C. A non-overlap time of 1.5 ms on both energisation and de-energisation prevents the NO and NC contacts from closing simultaneously during transition.
Applications
This auxiliary block is used on TeSys D and TeSys Deca contactors in motor control centres, panel boards, and machine control circuits where feedback of contactor state or interlocking logic is required. The 1NO+1NC arrangement covers both a status signal and a holding circuit in a single add-on block.
