It provides instantaneous contact operation for control-circuit feedback, interlocking, or status indication. The screw clamp terminals accept 1 to 2.5 mm² flexible or rigid wire, with a tightening torque of 1.7 N.m using a flat, Philips, or Pozidriv No. 2 screwdriver.
Rated operational current (Ie) is 6 A at 120 V AC-15, which covers typical solenoid and contactor coil loads in control circuits. At 690 V AC-15 it drops to 1.04 A — the AC-15 category (IEC 60947-5-1) governs electromagnetic loads, so this is the rating that matters for switching contactor coils, not the higher thermal current. For DC control circuits, it handles 0.55 A at 125 V DC-13 and 0.1 A at 600 V DC-13. The conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) is 10 A at 60 °C, but that's a resistive-load benchmark — don't use it to size for inductive loads. Minimum switching capability is 5 mA at 17 V, so it can handle low-energy PLC-level signals without contact wetting issues. Rated insulation voltage (Ui) is 690 V per IEC 60947-5-1, and 600 V per UL/CSA. IP20 protection means it's suitable for enclosed panel mounting only — no washdown or dust-tight rating.
Dimensions are 44 mm wide, 48 mm high, and 42 mm deep — it clips onto the front of a TeSys D or TeSys F contactor without adding DIN-rail width. The front-mount position means it occupies the space above the contactor's main poles, so check clearance above the contactor in the enclosure layout. Operating altitude is rated to 3000 m without derating. Protection against the external GG fuse is specified at 10 A — this is the maximum fuse rating for short-circuit protection on the control circuit feeding this block. Permissible short-time ratings: 100 A for 1 s, 120 A for 500 ms, 140 A for 100 ms at 60 °C, which covers inrush from multiple contactor coils. Making capacity is 140 A AC and 250 A DC per IEC 60947-5-1.
Certified to EN/IEC 60947-5-1, GB/T 14048.5, EN 50012, UL 60947-5-1, CSA C22.2 No 60947-5-1, and meets glow-wire requirements of IEC 60335-1 Clause 30.2 and IEC 60335-2-40 Annex JJ for appliance applications. Protective treatment is TH per IEC 60068 for tropical environments. Insulation resistance exceeds 10 MOhm.
