It provides 2 normally open and 2 normally closed instantaneous contacts, wired via lugs-ring terminals. This block signals the contactor's position back to the control system — telling a PLC or relay logic that the main contacts have picked up or dropped out.
Rated operational current is 6 A at 690 V in AC-15 duty (solenoid/contactor coil loads), and 1.04 A at 125 V DC-13 (DC solenoid loads). The conventional free-air thermal current is 10 A at 60 °C. Minimum switching is 5 mA at 17 V — important for low-energy PLC inputs that might not wet a dry contact. Making capacity is 140 A AC and 250 A DC per IEC 60947-5-1, so it can handle inrush from a pilot device without welding.
This auxiliary block mounts on the front of a TeSys Deca contactor, adding status feedback for motor starters, pump panels, conveyor controls, and compressor skids. The IP20 finger-safe housing suits enclosed panel installation. The TH protective treatment per IEC 60068 means it's rated for tropical/humid environments — a plus for Gulf Coast or Southeast Asian plants.
Installation notes
Mounts on the front of the contactor — no DIN rail needed. Terminals accept lugs-ring terminals with 8 mm outer diameter. Tightening torque is 1.7 N·m with a flat, Philips #2, or Pozidriv #2 screwdriver. Altitude rated to 3000 m.
Protection and approvals
Protected by a 10 A GG fuse. Insulation resistance exceeds 10 MOhm. Rated for short-time currents: 100 A for 1 second, 120 A for 500 ms, 140 A for 100 ms at 60 °C. Approvals include IEC 60947-5-1, UL 60947-5-1, and CSA C22.2 No. 60947-5-1 for the insulation voltage ratings.
