The Schneider LADN22A is a TeSys Deca auxiliary contact block — 2NO+2NC instantaneous contacts that snap onto the front of a TeSys Deca contactor or reversing starter. The block is IP20 protected, so it lives inside the panel, not on the line side of the enclosure.
The 2NO+2NC contact arrangement gives you two normally-open and two normally-closed auxiliary contacts in one block — enough to handle a feedback loop, a status light, and a PLC input without stacking a second block. The 10 A thermal rating (Ith) is the continuous current the contacts can carry in free air at 60 °C; the operational current (Ie) drops to 6 A at 120 V AC-15 and 0.55 A at 125 V DC-13, which is typical for control-circuit loads like contactor coils and indicator lamps. The minimum switching capability is 5 mA at 17 V, so it will reliably switch low-level PLC inputs without contact wetting issues.
Integration notes
Mounts on the front of a TeSys Deca contactor via snap-in terminals that accept 1 to 4 mm² flexible or rigid wire. The block dimensions are 42 mm deep by 44 mm wide by 48 mm tall — it adds about 42 mm to the depth of the contactor. The block carries EN/IEC 60947-5-1 and UL 60947-5-1 approvals, so it's accepted in both IEC and North American panels.
