The LADN31C is an auxiliary contact block from Schneider Electric's LADN series, rated 10 A. It mounts onto the front or side of TeSys D and TeSys F contactors to add signal-feedback or control-circuit contacts. The category listing places it under Contactors and Starters, subcategory Auxiliary Contacts — the block itself carries no main-load current; it switches the control logic.
What the 10 A Rating Means
The 10 A rating is the thermal continuous current (Ith) for the auxiliary contacts, not a motor-load rating. In a 24 VDC control circuit that means each contact pair can switch solenoids, relays, or PLC inputs up to that current without welding or excessive temperature rise. For AC control voltages the same 10 A applies at up to 690 V, which covers the standard 110 VAC and 230 VAC control circuits in most panels. Derate for inductive loads as usual — the 10 A figure is resistive; a DC solenoid draw of 2–3 A is a comfortable margin.
