The Schneider LADN40TQ is a front-mount auxiliary contact block from the TeSys Deca and TeSys D series.
The 4 NO contact composition means this block adds four form-A (normally-open) auxiliary circuits. Use it where you need to signal contactor position or interlock a logic input — it does not provide any normally-closed break contacts, so plan your safety circuit accordingly. The AC-15 rated operational current of 6 A at 120 V is the typical pilot-duty load for solenoid valves and contactor coils; at 690 V AC-15 it drops to 1.04 A, reflecting the higher switching stress on the contacts at elevated voltage. DC-13 rating of 0.55 A at 125 V covers DC coil or indicator loads. The minimum switching capability of 5 mA at 17 V means it will reliably switch dry-contact signals in low-energy PLC input circuits without contact wetting.
Deployment context
This block mounts to the front of a TeSys D or TeSys Deca contactor or reversing starter, adding auxiliary contacts without increasing the panel depth beyond the contactor's own envelope. Screw-clamp terminals accept one or two conductors from 1 to 2.5 mm², solid or flexible, with a tightening torque of 1.7 N·m — typical for a #2 Pozidriv or 6 mm flat-blade driver.
