Overview
The LADS26 is a Schneider TeSys Deca time delay auxiliary contact block, order code LADS26, providing 1NO+1NC contacts with an on-delay range of 1–30 s. It switches up to 6 A at 690 V supply, mounts on the front of TeSys Deca contactors via lugs-ring terminals, and carries an IP2X enclosure rating.
Function & operation
This block adds a programmable on-delay to the auxiliary contact set of a TeSys Deca contactor. The 1NO+1NC configuration provides one normally-open and one normally-closed timed contact; the 1–30 s on-delay range covers star-delta transition timing and load sequencing. The non-overlap time of 1.5 ms on both energisation and de-energisation ensures the NO and NC contacts never close simultaneously, preventing momentary shorts in interlocking circuits. A 10 A GG fuse protects the coil circuit.
Applications
The LADS26 is used in star-delta starter assemblies and other motor control circuits where a delayed auxiliary contact is needed to sequence contactor operation. It mounts directly on TeSys D, TeSys F, and TeSys Deca contactors, making it a drop-in timing block for OEM panels and retrofit upgrades.
