The LADT09 is a time delay auxiliary contact block from the TeSys Deca range, designed to bolt onto the front of a contactor or starter to add a programmable on-delay to the auxiliary circuit. It switches 1 NO + 1 NC contacts with a time delay range of 0.3...3 s, set by a front-mounted dial. The contacts are rated for 6 A at 120 V AC-15 (pilot duty) and 0.55 A at 125 V DC-13 (solenoid/brake loads), with a conventional free air thermal current of 10 A at 60 °C. The block uses Faston terminals for quick wiring, mounts in the front accessory slot of TeSys Deca contactors, and carries IP20 finger-safe protection per IEC 60529. It complies with EN/IEC 60947-5-1, UL 60947-5-1, and CSA C22.2 No 60947-5-1, making it acceptable for North American and European control panels.
The 0.3...3 s on-delay covers common timing needs like star-delta transition, conveyor start sequencing, or fan-coil delay. The 1 NO + 1 NC contact set gives you one make and one break — enough for a single timing function without extra interposing relays. The AC-15 rating (6 A at 120 V) is what governs pilot duty for contactor coils and indicator lamps; the DC-13 rating (0.55 A at 125 V) is the one to watch if you are switching DC solenoid valves or brake coils — the DC current is much lower than the AC figure because DC arcs are harder to extinguish. Minimum switching capability is 5 mA at 17 V, so it will handle PLC-level dry contacts without trouble.
