Coil for LC1E40–65 contactors
It runs on a 110 V AC 50/60 Hz control circuit, drawing 160 VA inrush at 50 Hz and 140 VA at 60 Hz (cos φ 0.75, 20 °C). Once sealed, hold-in drops to 15 VA at 50 Hz or 13 VA at 60 Hz — the coil resistance measures 34.4 Ω at 20 °C.
The 110 V AC coil is built for standard line-voltage control schemes — common in panel designs where the contactor coil ties directly to a control transformer secondary. The 0.85–1.1 Uc operational range (at <60 °C) means the coil picks up reliably at 93.5 V and drops out above 121 V, so a sagging control bus won't cause chatter. Ambient temperature tops out at 60 °C, which covers most ventilated enclosures but not hot-zone panels near ovens or furnaces.
