The 110 V AC coil is built for standard line-voltage control schemes — common in panel designs where the contactor coil ties directly to a control transformer secondary. The 0.85–1.1 Uc operational range (at <60 °C) means the coil picks up reliably at 93.5 V and drops out above 121 V, so a sagging control bus won't cause chatter.
