Product details

It switches 80 A at up to 440 V and carries a rated breaking capacity of 1000 A at 440 V. This is not a motor-starting contactor – the AC-1 rating is for resistive heating, lighting, or other non-inductive loads.

The 4-pole design (2 NO + 2 NC) gives you two normally-open and two normally-closed power poles, which is useful for switching both line and neutral or for double-break configurations. The coil is AC 50/60 Hz without a built-in suppressor – you'll need to add a snubber or varistor if switching an inductive load. Heat dissipation is 4–5 W at 50/60 Hz, so plan for airflow if mounting several contactors side by side. The IP20 front face protects against accidental touch, but the contactor is open-style for panel mounting.
