LC1D80004E7 is a TeSys Deca 4-pole contactor rated 125 A in AC-1 duty — that's the resistive load curve, not the motor-breaking number. It handles motor power up to 55 kW at 500 V, with lower kW ratings at standard 400 V and 230 V. The coil is AC 50/60 Hz without a built-in suppressor, so you'll need an external RC snubber or varistor if you're switching it with a PLC output. Mounts on rail or plate; front face is IP20. Three dimensions: 4.9 in deep, 3.8 in wide, 5 in tall — it fits the same footprint as other TeSys Deca frames.
Ratings and wiring
The 125 A AC-1 continuous rating is your ceiling for resistive loads. For motor starts, read the kW column: 22 kW at 230 V, 37 kW at 400 V, 45 kW at 690 V. Those match typical IEC motor frames in this class. Operating time is 20…35 ms closing, 6…20 ms opening — fast enough for most load cycling. Power circuit torque is 106.2 lbf.in (12 N·m); control circuit terminals are 10.6 lbf.in (1.2 N·m). Use a flat or hexagonal bit, 6–8 mm for the power studs. Control wires accept 1…2.5 mm² flexible with ferrule, or up to 4 mm² solid. The contacts are 4 NO — all normally open, so order add-on blocks for any NC auxiliaries.
Certified to IEC 60947-4-1 and 60947-5-1, UL 60947-4-1, CSA C22.2 No. 14, plus the Japan-specific Annex JJ for AC heat-pump duty. Flame retardance V-1 per UL 94. Climatic withstand per IACS. These listings cover most panel shop and export requirements — no extra paperwork chase.
