What this Easy TeSys contactor does

The LC1E350BSCT1S260N is a 1-pole DC contactor from the Easy TeSys range, built for switching resistive loads. Its continuous current rating of 350 A and maximum switching voltage of 1500 V DC set it apart from AC motor contactors. The 24 V DC coil with a pickup voltage range of 0.85 to 1.1 Uc and dropout between 0.1 and 0.75 Uc gives a clean control threshold. At 0.5 mOhm average impedance, power losses stay low even at full load. The contactor handles short-time overloads: 450 A for 30 minutes, 600 A for 120 seconds, up to 1000 A for 25 seconds – useful for capacitor charging or filament inrush.

DC switching and resistive load only

This is not a general-purpose AC-3 motor contactor. It is rated specifically for resistive loads per IEC 60947-4-1. The electrical durability figures reflect breaking tests on resistive circuits at 750 V, 1000 V, and 1500 V – all at 350 A. If you need to switch inductive or motor loads, pick a different Easy TeSys variant. Coil is DC, powered separately from the main circuit. The 55 W inrush drops to 6 W hold-in. Keep the control supply stable within the operational limits to avoid nuisance dropout.
