A single-pole DC contactor from Schneider's Easy TeSys Control range, the LC1E400BSCT1S260N is built for switching resistive loads at up to 1500 V DC and carrying 400 A continuous. Coil pulls 55 W inrush and holds at 6 W on 24 V DC, with an operating range of 0.85 to 1.1 Uc and drop-out between 0.1 and 0.75 Uc. Rated insulation voltage 1500 V and impulse withstand 8 kV (coil not connected to power circuit). Permissible short-time overload: 500 A for 120 min, 600 A for 120 s, 900 A for 30 s, 1000 A for 25 s — a useful envelope for motor starting or fault clearing sequences. Electrical durability is 2000 cycles at 750 V / 400 A, 1500 cycles at 1000 V, and 1000 cycles at 1500 V on resistive breaking loads. Mechanical life is 300,000 cycles. Meets IEC 60947-4-1 and GB/T 14048.4.
Mounts vertically, IP60 protected. Power terminals accept M8 nut with flat and spring washers; control circuit comes with 30 cm pigtail for 2-wire DC supply. Tightening torque 8–10 N·m on power side. Operating temperature range –40 to 85 °C, storage same. Vibration rating 5 g (10–500 Hz), shock 20 g for 11 ms. Altitude 4000 m without derating.
