The LC1F1000M7 is a TeSys F direct-on-line contactor rated 1250 A conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) at 40 °C and 1250 A rated operational current (Ie) in AC-3 duty at ≤440 V, 50/60 Hz. That AC-3 figure governs motor switching — it handles 560 kW at 380–400 V three-phase, 630 kW at 415 V, and 670 kW at 440 V. Short-time withstand current (Icw) is 10 kA for 10 s, 7.5 kA for 30 s, and 3 kA for 10 min at 40 °C — this defines the coordination window with upstream protective devices. The 220 V AC control coil (40–400 Hz) draws through screw-clamp terminals accepting 1–4 mm² flexible or solid wire. Plate-mounted, not DIN rail; the 438 mm width and 332 mm height demand panel layout planning.
Lifecycle and sourcing reality — EOL hot phase
This part is flagged EOL hot (end-of-life, active phase-out). The TeSys F series is being superseded by newer TeSys ranges. If you are stocking spares for an existing panel, buy the last-run quantity now; if designing new, evaluate the current TeSys replacement family.
Deployment and integration
Plate-mounted in a motor control centre or standalone enclosure. The 0.1 mΩ average impedance at 1250 A 50 Hz means about 156 W dissipation per pole in AC-1 — adequate ventilation or forced cooling needed in a closed panel. Operating altitude 3000 m without derating; ambient range -5 to 40 °C operating, -60 to 80 °C storage.
