TeSys F LC1F1000MD — 1250 A AC-3 Power Contactor
The Schneider Electric LC1F1000MD is a TeSys F series 3-pole contactor rated for 1250 A in AC-3 duty at ≤440 V AC, 50/60 Hz. That AC-3 rating governs motor switching — it handles 560 kW at 380–400 V three-phase, 630 kW at 415 V, and 670 kW at 440 V. The coil is 220 V DC standard, with closing time 40–80 ms and opening 100–200 ms.
AC-1 resistive load rating is 1250 A; AC-3 motor duty is 1000 A at ≤55 °C. The associated fuse rating is 1400 A gG at ≤440 V. Short-time withstand (Icw) is 10 kA for 10 s, 7.5 kA for 30 s — enough for coordination with upstream protection. Rated breaking capacity is 8 kA per IEC 60947-4-1.
Plate-mounted — no DIN-rail clip on this frame size. Dimensions: 438 mm wide, 332 mm high, 238.6 mm deep. Power connections are bar-type, accepting 3 or 4 cables. Control circuit uses screw clamp terminals, 1–4 mm² flexible or solid. IP20 front face with shrouds per IEC 60529.
Certified to IEC 60947-4-1 and IEC 60947-1 (EN equivalents). Rated insulation voltage 1000 V per IEC 60947-4-1, 1500 V per VDE 0110 group C. Impulse withstand voltage 8 kV. Overvoltage category III. Protective treatment TH for tropical environments. Ambient operating range -5 to 40 °C; storage -60 to 80 °C.
