TeSys F 4-pole contactor — 200 A AC-1, 230 VAC coil
The Schneider Electric LC1F1154P5 is a TeSys F 4-pole contactor rated for 200 A in AC-1 utilisation category (resistive loads) at ≤440 V, with 4 normally-open power poles and a 230 V AC 50 Hz control coil. This contactor is designed for plate mounting and handles resistive load switching — think heating banks, lighting stages, or transformer primary circuits where inrush is minimal and the load current stays continuous. The 200 A AC-1 rating means it can carry and break that current continuously under resistive conditions; the 4 NO pole configuration gives you four independent switching paths, each rated for the full 200 A when paralleled or split across separate load groups.
Rated operational current of 200 A at ≤440 V in AC-1 duty — this is the resistive load rating. If your load is motor (AC-3) or mixed, the contactor's thermal current (Ith) of 200 A at 50 Hz gives a ceiling, but AC-3 derating applies; verify against your motor FLA. Control coil is 230 V AC 50 Hz, with a pick-up range of 0.85–1.1 Uc and drop-out at 0.35–0.55 Uc (at 55 °C). Inrush power is 550 VA at 50 Hz cos φ 0.3; hold-in drops to 45 VA. That matters for transformer-coupled control circuits — the inrush spike can sag a small control transformer. Mechanical durability is 10 million cycles; maximum operating rate is 2400 cycles/hour at 55 °C. For high-speed cycling applications like resistance welding or fast indexing conveyors, that rate sets the limit. Associated fuse recommendations: 125 A aM or 200 A gG at ≤440 V, for short-circuit coordination. IP2X front face with shrouds (IEC 60529 / VDE 0106) — finger-safe from the front when shrouds are fitted. Altitude rating is 3000 m without derating.
Plate-mounted — no DIN-rail clip on this frame size. Dimensions: 162 mm height, 200.5 mm width, 171 mm depth. Power circuit accepts bar (20 x 3 mm), lugs (95 mm²), or bolted connections; control circuit uses screw-clamp terminals for 1–4 mm² flexible or solid. Tightening torque: power circuit 10 N·m, control circuit 1.2 N·m.
